Founder & Clinical Director

For over 12 years, I’ve walked alongside individuals, teens, and families who are carrying more than they should have to—grief, trauma, anxiety, anger, and the quiet weight of simply trying to hold it all together. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCASA), and National Certified Counselor (NCC), my work is grounded in compassion, clinical excellence, and cultural humility.

At L. Bryant Counseling & Consulting, I create space for people to feel safe, understood, and empowered—especially those who often feel overlooked or misunderstood in traditional mental health spaces. I specialize in supporting adolescents and adults navigating trauma, substance use, family conflict, and major life transitions.

My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, combining evidence-based practices with deep respect for your lived experience. Whether you’re here to unpack generational wounds, heal after loss, manage your emotions, or take your first steps toward recovery—I’m honored to walk that path with you.

Healing isn’t a quick fix. But with the right support, it is absolutely possible.

Marcellia Tyler, Intern

"I am an undergraduate senior attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Upon graduation, I plan to earn my PhD in clinical psychology so that I can serve veterans, active-duty members, and their families in the U.S Navy and U.S Marine Corps. As a child to dual military parents, I love the community and what it has to offer and even more importantly, I understand the struggles and burdens that come along with the commitment. With that, I look forward to helping those in any way that I can along their journey!"

Felicia Baxley, LCMHCA, LCASA

Felicia works primarily with teens, young adults, adults facing mental health or substance-use challenges. With a background in ABA therapy and addiction-focused training, she combines compassion and evidence-based practices to help clients build resilience and clarity.
